Nobel Prize work

With William H. Stein and Christian Anfinsen, Moore was honored for work on ribonuclease: together they invented ion-exchange chromatography of amino acids (the amino-acid analyzer), determined the enzyme's full sequence, and showed how its catalytic activity depends on chemical structure at the active centre.
